YouTube’s Annoyed Armos (shoutout to his boy XoPachi) contributes what may very well be the first instance of a Pepe / Trump “coincidence.”
Hi there, first off I want to say that your blog is very informative in regards to Donald Trump and how he is the avatar of an ancient Egyptian frog deity. On the day of Trump’s victory, a user on 4chan’s /v/ pointed out that Pepe makes an appearance in Donald Trump’s own “Donald Trump’s Real Estate Tycoon” game. The game is basically a simulator of sorts, where you compete against Trump to run a business, with the objective being to bankrupt him. You can choose the logo of your corporation, as well as the name and others. Here’s where it gets interesting.
Among them, is a logo of what appears to be a road with the word PEPE written below it.
The screenshot was taken from the following video, at the 3:03 mark.
Donald Trump’s video game was graced by Lord Kek himself. I figure this would be another nice addition to the blog, as it’s too creepy to be a mere coincidence.
Thank you for reading, and take care!
How fascinating. 4chan’s /v/ board is one of the most prolific meme-producers on the web. Once more, video games are very much the heart of underground imageboard (AKA meme magic) culture. Thus, a video game makes a fitting place for an eerie allusion toward Kek’s avatar, Pepe, in connection with his champion, Donald Trump.
And Armos was right, this is now the oldest record we have of a Trump / Pepe synchronicity. It predates the (now) second-oldest Pepe / Trump synchronicity: that one time Donald talked about “Pepe” in disturbingly accurate detail on The Apprentice.
CAROL: “Who’s the guy on the far right?”
TRUMP: “Pepe…What happened to Pepe? I didn’t recognize him.“
Did he say that?
